ATC Trades - I WANT TO TRADE

Okay, so I've gotten a bit addicted to DeviantArt lately and am realizing that there are a lot of really talented artists here. I've done a few trades lately and really enjoyed it.
I'm also re-doing my old dollhouse that my grandfather made me when I was a kid. I realized last night that ATCs are the perfect size to be little paintings in my dollhouse. So, I'm looking for some more, so I can have original artwork in every room of my dollhouse.
If anyone is interested in trading ATCs, send me a note. I have a section in my gallery with ATCs I have available for trade. I have a few more that aren't in that section, so just note me if you're interested and I'll show them to you. I'm also more than happy to trade for paper doll kits, if anyone is interested.

Hello, my name is Madeline and I am an art student at Southern Illinois University in Carbondale. I'm going into my Junior year studying studio art. I have yet to decide on a specialization, but at the moment, I think I might go into glass, although I plan to keep on painting, even if I do. I would like to go to graduate school and eventually teach, or sell art professionally. I won a small portfolio-based scholarship when I was a senior in high school, and that is how I decided to study art. Since then I've had my work displayed in several different galleries on campus, and even won a spot in the school's undergraduate art show and another juried show this spring. I've been taking a variety of studio classes, this year and last. This has really helped me figure out what I'm good at, and what I'm not good at.

Since coming to college, my style has expanded a lot. I also paint a lot more than I ever did before. I'm still trying to find a true artistic voice and I keep trying new things all the time. If I had to define my 'style' I would say it revolves around gestural and decorative lines, and conservative use of bright colors. I love painting ACEOs, because they're small and require only a small commitment and investment. I've done quite a few larger works, almost all abstract, using this style. My main influences are probably Peter Max, the Beatles, Toulouse Latrec and the commercial for those colorful mac computers they made in the late 90s (It was the one with the Rolling Stones song, if you don't remember.)

Aw, thanks. I was just going over my page last night and wondered why I had such a hard time keeping track of what my artist friends on DA are making. Then it occurred to me I hadn't added anyone to my Deviant Watch in kind of a while... Oh well... I confess I'm starting to get kind of addicted to this site... haha.
